Meet Mode Hire
Established in 2017 by Christopher James and Amelia Atkinson, Mode Hire offered a fresh and innovative approach to property styling.
Combining Chris’ understanding and experience in operations and logistics with Amelia’s knowledge and passion for furniture and homewares, they worked to create a contemporary property styling agency that was ahead of the trends and offered inspiring, value adding property styling.
Over the years, Mode has grown to include a team of experienced stylists who each bring a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the industry to the business. Staging over 300 homes a year, we are passionate about delivering great results.
We are proud of the fact that we own all of our inventory, and are committed to ensuring that our logistics teams are all in house, making the process more dependable, reliable and efficient for our clients.
Mode Hire is more than just property styling. We pride ourselves on our customer service, responsiveness and willingness to work with multiple agencies to ensure the best results for vendors.

Amelia Atkinson
Managing and Creative Director
Amelia owned and operated her own interiors and homewares stores for a decade before joining forces with Chris at Mode. She sets the aesthetic for Mode, sourcing and purchasing all of the inventory.
Her keen eye for timeless design and current interior trends gives Mode a competitive edge.
Kate Allison
Senior Stylist / Styling Services Co-Ordinator
Kate has over 10 years experience in property styling and holds a Cert IV in Interior Styling and Decorating (ISCD). She has an innate understanding of how best to present properties for sale and her knowledge of interior spaces is reflected in her expert work.
She manages the day-to-day styling services and styling team, and is often the first point of contact for our clients.
Lauren Davey
Senior Stylist
Lauren is an experienced property stylist and has worked in the residential and commercial design industry for over 10 years. She holds a Cert IV in Interior Styling and Decorating (ISCD) and is an industry professional.
Her keen eye for detail ensures that properties are presented to the highest standards.
Jen Zec
Stylist
Jen has worked in property styling, visual art practice and design course coordination in Sydney before joining the team at Mode.
With a Cert IV in Design (ISCD) she brings her creativity to the front. Her understanding of design principles makes her a valuable member of our team.
Nikki Haigh
Stylist
With a background in fashion, Nikki has brought that creative eye to property styling.
As well as creating spaces, she has a keen eye for photography and works behind the scenes as our content creator for social media. She is also our resident green thumb, curating and maintaining our fresh greenery and plants.
